Sublingual drops (SLIT), subcutaneous injections (SCIT), and venom desensitization for eligible patients.
After evaluating your history and testing, Dr. Waickman will outline the best immunotherapy path. Sublingual immunotherapy is cash-only and taken at home. Subcutaneous immunotherapy (allergy shots) is administered in-office and covered by most insurance plans. Venom desensitization is available for hymenoptera (bee/wasp) allergies.

Insurance & payment
Sublingual immunotherapy is cash-only. Allergy shots (SCIT) are typically covered by most insurance plans. Dr. Waickman accepts most major commercial insurance plans in our area, as well as Medicare and Medicaid.

What are your office hours?
We are open Monday 9:00a–5:00p, Tuesday 9:00a–6:00p, Thursday 9:00a–5:00p, and Friday 8:00a–5:00p. Closed Wednesday and 12:00p–1:00p daily.
Is sublingual immunotherapy covered by insurance?
Sublingual immunotherapy is offered as a cash-only service. We will outline costs and expected timelines before starting therapy.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Please bring a medication list, allergy history, prior testing (if any), insurance card, photo ID, completed allergy questionnaire (available on the Patient Forms page), and your specialist copay.
